For the last few weeks we have been emptying my room.
Most of my stuff is in Ama's basement. (Including my Rider's gear.)
A boy named John will be staying in my room while I am gone. My room is the biggest (except for mom's) so John lucked out getting the next biggest room.
I am hoping to buy some decorations in St. George to make my new room feel like home.
This blog belongs to Owen who is 11 years old. He moved to Grenada in September 2014 with us, his family, while I volunteer with Cuso International. He is sharing his thoughts about moving to a foreign country, living in the Caribbean and how it is to come home after ten months away.

Parkwood Estate - Oshawa
Last weekend I went to Parkwood estate. It was very beautiful. We went back for the basement tour. The basement wasn't as spectacular as the rest of the house, but there was the other part of the kitchen that I got to see.
The owner made his money by making and selling cars. He was the owner of General Motors. He liked having the latest technology.
In Grenada there will be plantations to visit, like Belmont. I don't think the houses will be as grand but I think the properties will be as pretty.
